Configurable Notification Settings

Users now have more granular control over their Notification Settings. You can decide what rating ranges you’d like to receive notifications for, based on the teams and locations where you serve as a manager.

How It Works

When a survey or testimonial is submitted, the creator can set a notification range for recipients, managers, and parent accounts. For example:

  • Recipient: Notified for all submissions

  • Manager: Notified for 3–5 star submissions

  • Parent Account: Notified for 1–2 star submissions

In this example, managers would be notified for 3–5 star reviews.

But what if you don’t want notifications that frequently? For example, as a manager, you may only want to be notified for 1-star reviews, but you don’t have permission to edit the underlying survey (and you don’t want to change the rules for everyone else).

With Configurable Notification Settings, you can now adjust your own personal preferences, independent of the survey creator’s default notification ranges.

Steps to Configure Your Notification Settings

Step 1:
Navigate to Account (upper right corner of your dashboard).


Step 2:
Click on Notification Settings under Action Items.


Step 3:
Configure your personalized notification settings by selecting the rating ranges you’d like to be notified about


Step 4:
Click Save to apply your changes.

Please keep in mind that these settings are ONLY restrictive. So, if the original range says to report 1 - 3 and you specify 1 - 4, then you won't receive any for 4 as it's restricting, not expanding.
