Create A Static Survey Link for Embedding

This article will show you how  to create a static survey link to use if you are not using a survey integration. This link can be embedded on your website or in email. 


Step 1: From your Dashboard click on Survey and then Manage Survey in the Navigation Bar



Step 2: On the Survey you want to use, click Edit




Step 3: Change Use Static Collection Link to Yes and then Save





Step 4: Copy the last string of numbers and letters after sid= in the survey URL 





Step 5: Add that string to this URL http://testimonialtree.com/respond.aspx?sid=

Example:

Step 6: If you want to make a static survey link for a specific user you can add the username to the URL string: "&un={username}"
  1. To find a username, go to Management and Users 
  2. The username will be under the Name 


Example: 
  1. http://testimonialtree.com/respond.aspx?sid=tvzD52oioPQ= + &un={username}
  2. http://testimonialtree.com/respond.aspx?sid=tvzD52oioPQ=&un=company_Kent.Clark
