Summary
The mass edit tool can be used to publish or remove large amounts of testimonials simultaneously, avoiding the manual publication of each testimonial individually. The tool comes with several filters to narrow down the selection of testimonials, like rating, the date it was received, and several others.
I will list all the filters with their purpose and default values below.
Duplicate Prevention
The old version of the tool didn't check if a testimonial already existed before publishing. The new version of the mass edit tool avoids publishing a testimonial multiple times to the published source (Widget, App, 3rd party). So even if the user filters the selection of testimonials to 4 stars and higher, the tool checks if the testimonial exists in each widget, app, 3rd party provider.
Email

The email field takes an email address that can be used to send a detailed report that lays out how many testimonials were affected with the filters you selected. Depending on the size of testimonials being selected it could take from 1 - 10 minutes to finish processing. To avoid having to sit there waiting for it to run, we will notify you once its completed, with the results generated.
Action
This field simply reflects if you are adding or removing testimonials. For example, let's say you accidentally imported testimonials with several negatives sentiments from your customers, if you'd like to delete them, just choose "remove" from the options listed with this dropdown.
Condition & Rating
Allows the user to select the testimonial they will publish or remove depending on the rating associated with it. If you only want positive testimonials to display, then I'd recommend setting it to Condition = Greater or Equal to and Rating = 4.
Date
The date field is when the testimonial was received. There are a few pre defined values in the drop down like Year to date, last year, 3 months ago, last month. You can also choose whatever date you'd like, using the date inputs below the dropdown.
Users
The user search area, is used to select specific users to publish or remove testimonials for. This input has different access on the sub users depending on the logged-in account using the tool.
- Admin Account
If the logged-in account is the admin account, than you have access to every single sub-user account, meaning you can remove or publish testimonials for any account in their organization. By default, if no user is selected with this search tool, the default users selected will be all the users within the organization.
-Manager User (Location or Team Manager)
If the logged-in account is a manager of some sort, they will have access to any users they manage, be it via locations or teams. By default, if no user is selected with this search tool, the default users selected will be all the users managed by this account.
- Individual Account (single user)
The normal accounts won't have access to this search input, since they shouldn't be able to add or remove testimonials for other user accounts within their organization, just their own data.
